  1. Acute medicine

    Our acute medicine team assess, diagnose and treat you if you are seriously (or acutely) unwell and have been referred to us as an emergency.

  2. Anaesthetics

    Our anaesthetics service works closely with our other teams to assess and prepare you when you come in for an operation, provide you with appropriate types of sleep and pain relief, and supervise your care after your operation in our recovery wards, high dependency unit or intensive care unit.

    Our audiology team assess your hearing and provide you with hearing aids if you need them. They also provide support for other conditions to do with your hearing, such as tinnitus.

  5. Bereavement service

    At our bereavement office, our staff can offer you advice on local community bereavement support agencies, and can arrange follow up meetings with hospital staff if this is something that would help you.

    Our Bowel Cancer Screening team provide the  NHS National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme for residents of Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon and north Ealing.

    Our breast service team see over 7000 new patients, and treat over 400 new cancers a year. They work closely with the North London Breast Screening Unit.

  12. Brent sickle cell and thalassaemia centre

    Our specialist sickle cell and thalassaemia service cares for you from birth and throughout adulthood both in hospital and in the community.

    Our cancer services team provide you with care and support if you have, or suspect you may have, cancer.

    Our cardiology team diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the heart.

  15. Children's diabetes service

    Our Children and Young People’s Diabetes Service offers medical, nursing, dietetic and psychological support to children, young people and their families with diabetes.

  17. Children's sickle cell and thalassaemia service in Ealing

    Our chlidren's sickle cell and thalassaemia service in Ealing cares for children and young people who have inherited sickle cell disease or Thalassaemia Major.

  18. Colorectal surgery

    Our team look after you if you have colorectal and intestinal disease.

  19. Colposcopy

    Our specialist doctors and nurses will help to diagnose and care for you if you have had an abnormal smear test, using a colposcopy.

  20. Community stroke programme in Harrow

    The Harrow Community Stroke Co-ordinator works jointly with London North West Healthcare NHS Trust and Harrow Social Services to support for you if you have have a stroke and are living in Harrow.

    Our critical care team care for people who are seriously unwell and who need complex care.

    Our dermatology team diagnose and treat skin diseases.

  23. Diabetes and endocrinology

    Our diabetes and endocrinology team care for people who have diabetes or endocrine conditions such as thyroid disease.

  24. Dietetics

    Our team of specialist dietitians assess and treat you for any problems that you might have relating to your diet or nutrition.

  25. Ear, nose, and throat (ENT)

    Our Ear, Nose and Throat (or ENT) service looks after you if you have one of a number of conditions affecting your head and neck.

  26. Early pregnancy unit

    The team on our Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) offer you specialist care if you are in the early stage of your pregnancy and are experiencing some problems.

  27. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome national diagnostic service

    The Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) national diagnostic service, also known as the Complex EDS service, is a specialist service for you and your family if you have or are suspected to have a rare type of EDS.

  28. Elderly care

    Our elderly care team diagnose and treat older people who are unwell.

  29. Emergency department (A&E)

    Our emergency departments at Northwick Park Hospital and Ealing Hospital are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for anyone seeking emergency treatment caused by an accident or illness.

  30. Endoscopy

    Our endoscopy team offer a range of procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.
