Ealing Hospital League of Friends
The League of Friends of Ealing Hospital raise an amazing amount of money every year to provide our patients with the little extras that make life in hospital more comfortable.
They have raised more than £2million since the hospital opened, purchasing televisions for the dementia ward, ultrasound equipment for the emergency department, a bladder scanner for use on the wards and much more.
The Friends' Cafe
Opened in 1979 the cafe is located near the hospital’s outpatients department. It is run entirely by volunteers from 15 to 95 years-old and who come from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
The café offers a selection of fresh, local food at reasonable prices, as well as tea, coffee
and other beverages.
