Doctors' strike action this week

The British Medical Association has announced that junior doctors are taking part in industrial action from 7am on Saturday 24 February to 11.59pm on Wednesday 28 February.

Strike action will affect all inpatient and outpatients services at Central Middlesex Hospital, Ealing Hospital, and Northwick Park Hospital.

Therefore, we are cancelling many appointments and planned procedures. If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will send you a new date as soon as possible.

If you don’t hear from us, please come to your appointment as usual.

Urgent and emergency care

In an emergency, always call 999. If you’re unsure where to go, call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk for help.

If it isn’t an emergency, you will experience longer wait times in A&E: please stay away so we can care for the people who really need us.

Maternity services

Our maternity services are open as usual during the junior doctors' strike. If you’re worried about you or your baby, call maternity triage as soon as possible.

Calling us

You will experience longer waits than usual if you’re calling to speak to a relative or friend, or if you’re calling for an update on a relative’s condition. Please bear with us.
