Volunteer's bubbly goodbye

One of the trust’s longest serving volunteers said goodbye to the trust today after 25 years in the driving seat.

Douglas Milsom 80, retired for the second time in his career as a voluntary driver having originally worked in computing.

“I’m 80 now so think I’ve done my time. It’s been nice giving something back and I’ve enjoyed my time here.”

Doug, who still runs for Hillingdon Athletics Club, was presented with a plaque and bottle of bubbly for his work.

We’d like to say thank you and Happy Christmas to all our volunteers. We think you’re amazing.
