Recall of faulty adrenaline pens

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency is recalling all Emerade 300 and 500 adrenaline auto-injection pens.

A fault in some of the pens means the product either isn’t delivered or is activated prematurely.

LNWH has a very small number of patients on this prescription, all of whom will be contacted directly by our pharmacy team with more information. If you’re on this prescription, please contact your GP who can offer a substitute.

Alternatively, they can call the trust’s medicines information patient helpline number on 0202 869 2762 or seek further information via www.lnwh.nhs.uk/medicine-advice. Please call 999 in an emergency.
