About the service
Our audiology team assess your hearing and provide you with hearing aids if you need them. They also provide support for other conditions to do with your hearing, such as tinnitus.
At Central Middlesex and Northwick Park, we also provide audiology assessments and treatments for children, including newborn hearing screening.

- advice on hearing loss
- support with tinnitus
- assessments for dizziness
- newborn hearing screening
- screening for children to identify any risk factors
- support to our ENT team if you need this for a diagnosis.

We provide audiology services in Brent and Harrow:
- at Central Middlesex Hospital: ACAD centre, area 6
- at Northwick Park Hospital: clinic 10, outpatients, level 5
- at Alexandra Avenue Health Centre.

Research
Our team are actively involved with research, and we were a recruiting site for the OSTRICH study. We are currently helping Manchester University to recruit babies for a study titled Improving Clinical Practice for Babies with Hearing Loss.
Referrals
Referrals from GPs and consultants should be made through the NHS e-Referrals Service (e-RS).
