Some of our services and clinics accept referrals from non-GP referrers, teaching professionals, or parents or guardians. Some services accept paper referrals for clinically urgent cases only.

Respiratory physiology: diagnostic test at Ealing Community Diagnostic Centre

We can investigate the following conditions: 

  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 
  • Asthma 
  • Breathlessness 

Tests available 

  • Spirometry, with or without reversibility testing 
  • Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNo) 
  • Spot-check pulse oximetry 
  • Six-minute walk test 

Clinic times 

We carry out tests Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm. 

Referrals 

GPs should use the separate Directory of Service entry on eRS to respiratory physiology at the Ealing Community Diagnostic Centre.  

We do not accept referrals from the general respiratory medicine service. 

Results 

We send all results to the referring clinician.
