West Ealing and Hanwell residents urged to have Covid-19 tests

Ealing Council are urging residents living and working in Hanwell and West Ealing to have a Covid-19 test – whether or not they have symptoms.

The testing programme is in response to the news that a resident in the area recently tested positive for the South African variant of Covid-19, and is designed to identify and contain any other cases that may be in the area.

Check if you live or work in the testing area

You can find out whether you live or work within the testing area by using:

  1. Ealing Council's postcode finder
  2. Ealing Council's interactive map

How to get a test

The Council will deliver tests to homes within the area for free, and you will not be asked for payment.

Those who cannot take the test at home are also able to book to visit a an asymptomatic testing unit.

The home tests and asymptomatic testing unit should only be used by residents who do not have Covid-19 symptoms.

If you do have symptoms, book a Covid-19 test as normal by calling NHS 119 or book a test online.
