Celebrating international prematurity day

On 16 November, International Prematurity day, the neonatal unit at Northwick Park Hospital celebrated in style. They invited families, whose babies were born preterm to a prematurity graduation party. With food, dancing and speeches, everyone had a great time.

Among the celebrants was Velency, whose baby, Chris Joseph was born at just 30 weeks.

NHS superheroes take the fight to flu

Staff are tapping into their inner superhero, as part of a campaign encouraging more people to have the flu jab this winter.

The Flu Fighters campaign features clinical and non-clinical staff posing as superheroes and taking the fight to flu. The images will be used as part of an ongoing campaign throughout the flu season which runs from October to March.
