Maternity survey for new mothers

Women are being encouraged to complete a maternity survey to help shape future service improvements.

The survey has been sent to all women who gave birth in Northwick Park’s Maternity Unit between February 1-28, 2025.

The questionnaire asks mothers about their experience of birth and to rate the care they received during pregnancy, labour and birth.

The 15-minute survey can be completed online with login details included in a letter sent out to all new mothers by the hospital trust.

Improvements introduced last year as a result of feedback include the refurbishment and opening of the birth centre with five birthing rooms, four pools and two pull down double beds, a total remodel of triage providing five private consulting rooms and a focus on the provision of 1:1 care in labour on the birth centre and the labour ward.
