A&E proves a top ten hit

The trust continues to improve its performance against the national emergency care standard, to see and treat patients within four hours of arrival, and is now among the top ten highest performing organisations in the UK for the first time.

Congratulations to the immense work of our emergency department, our acute medicine, ward and site teams. The trust is now the ninth best performing trust in England and the second best in London.

Consultant Jon Baker said: “It’s quite an achievement because we have one of the biggest and busiest A&E departments in the country. It’s a team effort and we’ve got there despite being in the midst of a pandemic.

Northwick Park and Ealing’s emergency departments see more than 5,000 patients in an average week.
