Raising concerns

If you think something isn’t quite right, tell us as soon as possible. We can fix most issues quickly, if we’re told.

  1. The first step is to talk to the person in charge of your area or ward. Ask at the reception desk or nursing station.
  2. If the person in charge can’t help, or if you’d like to talk to someone away from the ward or department, talk to our patient advice and liaison service.

Your joint surgery feedback

You might be asked to fill in a survey about your joint care just before your surgery, and six months afterwards.

The survey aims to assess the quality of the care you receive and the effectiveness of your surgery.

The questionnaire is part of our national reporting requirements, which helps us to improve our care for other north west Londoners like you: please do take the time to fill in the survey.

Remember: although the second survey is sent after six months, most patients take a year to recover.
