London nurses front sci-fi flu campaign
Nurses in North West London are fronting the trust’s annual flu campaign which uses the appliance of science to encourage more staff to get their free jab.
This year’s sci-fi B movie theme enlisted the likes of theatre nurse and Afghan war veteran Annette Bodden-Whisker, pictured, who happily hammed it up for the camera with a suitably retro look.
Half the trust’s 9,000 strong workforce have had their flu jab as part of the ‘Put the science first. Don’t let flu myths put you at risk’ campaign which runs until February.
The current campaign shows a 6.5% improvement on vaccination uptake compared to the same time last year.
