Diabetes Integrated Care Ealing (DICE)

The diabetes service provides specialist clinics in the community, more convenient to where you live and reduce the need to attend hospital unnecessarily.

Diabetes Integrated Care Ealing (DICE) provide a number of different services as listed below:

  • Nurse consultant led service
  • Hospital consultant led clinics
  • Joint consultant antenatal clinics
  • Young adult clinic (every third Friday of the month)
  • Insulin initiation following initial consultation
  • Diabetes specialist dietetic service
  • Diabetes specialist podiatry service
  • Support and training for community nursing service and annual review of patients that are housebound
  • Professional education sessions, including updates for health care professionals
  • Right Start Education sessions on Wednesday and Thursdays at various community sites
  • Health promotion events
  • Six weekly multi-disciplinary team meeting at each locality

  • Feathertsone Road Clinic, Hartington Road, Southall, UB2 5BQ 
  • Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, Uxbridge Road, Southall UB1 3HW 
  • Grand Union Village, Taywood Road, Northolt, UB5 6WL
  • Patient homes (by appointment)

How to access the service:

Your GP will refer you to the community diabetes clinic, you will be sent an appointment to attend a clinic close to your home.
