Changing or cancelling your appointment

Please note that our Access Centre is currently experiencing an unusually high volume of calls, which means that some patients may experience delays in speaking to a member of staff when calling to reschedule or cancel an appointment.  We do apologise for this issue, which we are working to resolve as soon as possible by increasing the number of staff available in the Access Centre to answer calls.

In some cases, you may speak to a member of staff who won't be able to rebook your appointment immediately, but will be able to note your request.  We will then get in touch with you when we have rebooked your appointment.

Cancelling or rescheduling an outpatient appointment

Our Access Centre will manage your referral and book your appointment.    This is the case for all our hospitals, with the exception of St Mark's Hospital appointments, which has a separate number, provided below.  You can get in touch with us on the following numbers if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. 

If you are unable to keep an appointment or need to change the date for any reason, please telephone the relevant number above as soon as possible so that your appointment can be offered to another patient. The telephone number is also shown on your appointment letter.
