The postgraduate department at Central Middlesex Hospital is based in the Avery Jones Medical Education Centre, situated on the 2nd floor of the BECaD building. Map and directions
The centre's facilities support a range of medical education and training, including foundation and core medical teaching, Grand Rounds, Trust inductions, clinical governance meetings and the Central Middlesex GP Vocational Training Scheme. The facilities are also used by other staff groups and medical students attending courses and statutory/mandatory training.
The centre comprises the postgraduate department offices, lecture theatre and meeting room facilities. The meeting rooms are equipped with white board, flipchart and connection points for laptop and projector:
- Lecture theatre with raked seating for 100 people
- Seminar room with video conferencing facilities with seating for 25 people
- Seminar room seats 15 people in rooms B and C but the partition can be opened to make one larger room that will seat up to 50 people cinema style.
