Paediatric Occupational Therapy (Children)

Paediatric Occupational Therapy involves working with children who have difficulties participating in activities of daily living such as dressing, feeding, writing, play and tool use.

We aim to help children maximise their independence and reduce the difficulties they may have while performing daily activities. We liaise with families, schools, nurseries and other professionals working with the child. Occupational Therapists are Health Professions Registered with the Health and Care Professional Council.

Occupational Therapists work with children with:

  • Mild, moderate and sever learning difficulties
  • Physical disabilities
  • Difficulties with accessing the curriculum
  • Developmental delay
  • Co-ordination difficulties.
