We believe in the investment of our staff through staff development and life-long learning.
Excellence in clinical education and training is the core of London North West Healthcare NHS Trust and we are committed to developing a healthcare workforce of the highest quality and standards.
Through our partnership with Higher Education Institutes including Bucks New University and the University of West London, we facilitate the development of health professionals of whom the NHS depends upon.
Through our clinical in-house training and collaboration with health and other non-health, organisations we offer a vast range of courses for clinical staff.
Education, training and development of our staff
The NHS relies solely on highly trained and competent staff. We value our staff and invest heavily in educating and developing all our clinical registered and unregistered staff, pre and post-graduation, and work closely with Health Education North West London on further clinical training development opportunities.
Our team work together with the other education, learning and development teams to create in-house courses and to support staff needing specialist training elsewhere.
Supporting healthcare professionals
We help our professionally trained (post-graduation) and non-registered clinical staff to develop their skills by funding further studies or to undertake extensive training on highly specialised equipment, and to attend professional seminars and conferences to learn and share best practices or undertake research.
We have four facilities where clinical education and training is conducted.
